Thich Nhat Hanh - Live from Plum Village - Beta Testing

The art of living happily when things are in beta

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Fourfold Sangha,

Thank you for making the time in your daily lives to listen to these wonderful teachings. It is a great joy for us to make them available to you, so that brothers and sisters across the world can also benefit from what those of us in Plum Village enjoy as part of our daily lives.

Please understand that these talks are streamed live as is, without any guarantee on our part of accessibility or regularity. We are just simple monks and nuns, not a TV or radio station! It is out of our wish to serve the Sangha that we do this. When we feel frustration at a talk not being available as we like it we can return to our breathing and have trust to know that others are doing the best that they can to resolve the difficulties of time, stress, and technical know-how that obstruct the regularity of transmission.

Our original teacher the Buddha reminds us to take refuge in the Dharma, and not to take refuge in anything or anyone else. This includes live streaming Dharma talks. The Dharma is within us, and just as the monks and nus practice letting go when we don't get what we want, we can also enjoy letting go when every talk is not available in every translation or format that we would like.

Thank you for your understanding. Let your practice of "living happily when things are in beta" be an inspiration to all of us.
